So...Cooper doesn't exactly like Primary (but I am pretty sure that Primary -as a whole- really doesn't like Cooper so it a mutual feeling) anyway...I always ask him what he learned about in Primary and usually he has no idea and just goes on about how he doesn't want to sing or how someone sat in his chair blah blah blah...but today he told me they talked about getting baptized. So Eric and I were really trying to talk to him about his lesson and Eric says "how old are you when you get baptized?" Cooper said "5". Then he corrected himself and said "no no it's 8!". So we told him that's right and went on to ask more questions. Eric said "when you turn 8 who is going to baptise you?" Coooper thought and thought and thought and then he said "JOHN THE BAPTIST!!" I cracked up laughing and Eric said "ok, not John the Baptist, who is your second choice?" Again, Cooper thought and thought..."JESUS!" I laughed harder and Eric said "no, me! I am going to baptise you!" Cooper said "YOOOOOU???" HAHAHAHA OH MAN...I WAS CRACKING UP!!! This was too funny to just put on my list of "Funny things my kids say" I had to tell the story!!!

THAT'S MY BOY!!!!
FINALLY!!! FINALLY!! FINALLY!!
All I have ever wanted was a boy who WANTS to play baseball! I actually WANT to spend Saturdays at the fields watching game after game. Connor HATES baseball and Cooper..well come on we all know that the first time Cooper strikes out the pitcher will be beat to death with the bat but Cody....He might be the one!! He can throw the ball the correct way (hand back, take a step, release, follow through etc.) yea yea..he is only 1 I know but for 1 he has skills! :) He put this cap on and his shoes all by himself and went into the garage to take some cuts!!
THA'TS MY BOY!!

Family Weekend
We had such a great 3 day weekend! We had all of the boys for the holiday, no one had school and Eric didn't have to work. We took advantage of it and did as much as we could as a family. The highlights were the County Fair, picnic at a new park, FHE and a BBQ/ swim party on Monday. The younger kids had a great time at the fair riding tractors, learning how to rope a bull, doing an obstacle course and riding a few rides!!
It is weekends like this that I stop and realize how blessed I am to have such a great family (immediate and extended). What a great weekend!!!

Wow, what a weekend!
First the boys went camping then they came home for more fun. Cooper and Cody went to Elle and Emme's birthday party and Connor went to his Track Meet.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLE AND EMME!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLE AND EMME!!!
TRACK & FIELD
I didn't have the camera at Connor's track meet but he took 4th in the 100m in his heat, 1st in the high jump for all 5th grade boys in the district and he participated in the shot put but those results won't be known until Monday. It was soooo fun to go and watch him. The track meet was for all 4th-6th grade in all Elk Grove Unified School District. I could spend every Saturday at sporting events cheering on my kids. Besides the sunburn...it was one of the best days I have had in a long time.
