This is what I did about it (or had done)!!

I hate baby locks on doors and cabinets and I NEVER had to have them when Connor and Cooper were little. Cody on the other hand gets into EVERYTHING! I finally had to break down and have Eric install baby locks on the families most frequently used cupboard. Another sigh.....I love my kids but really....it's been a rough few days! :)

The other day, I was blog surfing and ended up on several blogs of people I do not know. I was actually looking for a cute new background and came across a blog of a girl you had had it with her son. That day at church he was really bad (she didn't give details) but she said that if she didn't believe the Church was true she would never go back. Her son was so bad that she left crying and embarassed. I did NOT laugh at this blog post. I totally and completely understood where she was coming from and felt sorry for her. I should have never read that blog!! I think I jinxed myself. I lived that same event today. Mine didn't happen in sacrament meeting but it didn't matter. I just had to post for the girl who's blog I stumbled acrossed and can't find again on the chance the she stumbles on mine. Hang in there....it HAS to get better.....it simply can NOT get any worse.

Count down to Idaho

We are going to see my sister in Idaho next week. I just told Connor and Cooper today about our plans. They are soooo excited. After church today Connor asked if they could do an art project. I said sure and on their own they made a countdown chain. I thought it was very cute that they are so excited about going that they worked together (with no fighting!) and made a countdown chain. My birthday and my best friend!

Today was one of the funnest days I have had in a really long time! Matt (Stefani's husband) is out of town on business so she told me she wanted to do something. Little did I know this was her cover story for getting me to the mall and giving me my birthday present. She arranged for a babysitter to watch our 4 kids while we went to the mall and had lunch. We went to Sephora for color consultations. I told her a while ago that I wanted to get my colors done (since I am so lame at makeup) and she remembered! We had so much fun! We both got a color consultation and actually learned a few new tips we didn't know. Not only did she plan the fun day but then she bought me some of the makeup that was right for me! After the mall we headed to Olive Garden for all you can eat soup, breadsticks and salad. YUMMY!!! How awesome is my best friend???!!!??? Thanks Stefani for a great girls day out and the perfect birthday present! Love ya!!
