Summer Fun

Our Summer has been full of fun and is off to a great start!!

We got to spend a day with the Gibson Kids

Eric and I went to the Folsom Rodeo for the 4th of July. We forgot our camera but my favorite favorite favorite part is when the parachuter comes in while "Proud to be an American" is playing!

Brock babysat for us while we went. When we came home the report was he was the best babysitter EVER! (gee...I wonder why! see pics!)

We went to the Jellybelly Factory with Katie, Lucas, Mason, Jill, Andi, Brian, Dax, Cale and Sam! That was fun!!

The Jones came to town so we went to LEATHERBY's! The kids had more fun eating ice cream than doing anything else together!!

Now if I can remember my camera...there will be lots of more fun stuff to post later!

Called to Serve

Sharday received her call to Brazil!! It was so awesome to be there when she opened her call. What a sweet reaction she (and her mom) had. I am so proud of Sharday and her decision to serve a mission. The people in Brazil will be blessed to have her. She reports to the Brazil MTC on November 17th and will be speaking Portuguese. I can't wait to hear all of her missionary moments!!

Happy Birthday!

Cooper is 6!! He has been counting down his birthday for months!! This picture captures his pure happiness. His wish list of gifts included a toy boat, crayons, a shirt, $6 cash, DS game and play dough. He got everything he wanted (except the playdough- yay!!!) He had a great day and is thrilled to finally be 6 like his friend Elle and his counsin Klair.

Time flies...

I can not believe that my first born is a "middle schooler". This little boy and I have come a long way...I love him, I am proud of him and I can not believe how fast time has gone by....

He did it!!

Cooper J did it!! He promoted from Kindergarten to first grade. I am soo soo proud of him. He has come a long way! Mrs. Langford was heaven sent! She is the best teacher we have ever had. Watch out 1st grade..you don't know whats about to hit you!!

Cowboy Cody Mack

I have always thought the name Cody is "cowboyish". When we were deciding on names for baby #3, Cody was one that my husband and my other kids liked. It was not my favorite because of the cowboy idea I had stuck to it. My other 2 boys middle names are after their grandpas. So when trying to decide on a middle name for baby #3, Grandpa Pollmann's middle name "Mack" was thrown out there. Eric loved it...Cody Mack...that was the name. It was bad enough when it was Cody but Cody Mack!?!? You can't get more of a cowboy name than that!

Anyways, Cody has decided that he is going to go by "Mack". He calls himself Mack and so do we (most of the time). I have noticed that it isn't catching on with anyone else though..maybe you all think Mack is to "old man" like.....regardless....here are some pics of my little cowboy...Cody Mack. (I love this kid!!)
